Watching your pennies!

I have been in connection with a company where I can ask questions about electronic repair. It is a good company, but I have had many problems with them. I have been with this company for a few years off and on and have learned a little but probably not enough to justify the money spent with this company. Since August of last year, I have had financial problems with this company. It is supposed to charge me $9.95 a month but instead is has done this multiple times within the same month. I got it straighten out and didn’t used them for a few month for there was no need. When I went to sign on in October the account didn’t work, so I had to call the company to see what gives.

You know there are times in your life where the Lord is trying to tell you something but for some reason you try to justify it so you can have even though you don’t see the overall picture. You must trust without questions. This was one of those times, but it wasn’t a heavy burden that He was placing so I just thought I could work through it. I was wrong. He told me a long time ago to “Watch for My little Blessings!” This was a little blessing in reverse. If I had listen to Him and not gotten online with this group I would have not gone through these problems.

There were other things that were telling me to get off this company’s list. I was being beat up verbally by those on the forum with bad language and put-downs. They didn’t believe I had any education and I couldn’t figure out why I needed to try to show them. This was another warning from the Father that I was against His will. What I don’t understand is why so much rebellion. Why do we have to endure so much torture in order to have the freedom that we could have had if we did or didn’t do what we were suppose to do or not do in the first place? It is our choice; we can have our cake and eat it too, if we will only obey.

While I was writing this, another disobedience chapter in my life showed up. Christmas day of 2001, Renee and I received 3 hens and one rooster to our collections of animals. I felt a little uneasy about the chickens but we got them anyway. I wanted to see how to raise them and to see how the eggs tasted. Also I had this great idea of making lots of money selling eggs. I think we got a total of $60.00 of eggs for a year worth of eggs. We had so many eggs and no one to buy them. We gave away a lot of eggs. We also hatched a few chickens and Renee tamed a bird that was called Baby. The funniest thing is seeing a big hen on top of my wife’s shoulder, as you would allow a cockatiel to do. But this isn’t the worst; we added fuel to the fire and said we will raise quails. My thinking is that quail cost $10.00 at the store for 4 birds. If we raise them, we will have lots of them. Well when we figured it up we had, and our quails instead of costing $2.50 a piece as in the store, cost us about $50.00 a piece. It takes a long time for those birds to grow and they waste a lot of food.

The Lord gave me this uneasy feeling when I went to get those birds and that burden in my chest didn’t lift until got rid of those birds. Now the chicken’s days are ending at the Milner household. We are giving away the chickens to a family of 6 children, who can use the eggs.

I said all that to say this. We must follow those little feelings in our spirit and trust. If you feel that you are not supposed to do something don’t do it. And then trust that the Lord knows best. It isn’t intuition, it is GOD! So Obey!

BE Blessed!
