Before I found out anything yesterday about our Minister of Music daughter being in a car wreak. I was already in prayer for the family. I didn't have any details, but the one thing I knew I didn't want was the unprotected hand of the Most High YHVH (God). So before leaving the house yesterday, I prayed intensely before the truck left the yard.

As I was driving around I notice that every time that I went to do something within the truck other than driving, the Lord started stirring in me to stop what I was trying to do and drive. Whatever I was doing I could wait until I stopped and then get what I was looking for.

You know He is right. He will protect us, but if you go against His will, things will happen because you in disobedience to Him. He is trying to protect you, but you are doing everything possible to get out from under His protection. The Word says to abide by the Laws of the land. And if you are breaking them, then what makes you think He is going to protect you. Yes, He will probably keep you from dying, but will He stop you from a wreak or a speeding ticket when you are in the wrong. I think not. He can't go against His own Word. And if He helps you out of something that is against His Word that makes Him a lying God.

He isn't a lying God. He is the Father who knows all and protects all as long as we are within the framework of His Holy Word. I have heard people say that we drove right by a state patrol officer doing 80 miles per hour and they didn't even stop us. Well the reason that person told me was so I could tell them what they had missed in His Word. They didn't want to hear it. How many Christians who say, "I want more of God", and yet when something is pointed out to them they don't want to hear it. Then the question arises, do you really want more of God, or do you want more of God until you have to change.

Change is the number one reason behind the Word. You are ever changing each time you are shown something new in the Word. If you are not, then the Word is a novel to you and not a reference point. I have had people say that they don't see anything wrong with looking at pornography. Well if they haven't read the conviction within the Word then they have nothing to convict them.

Grace and Mercy abounds in each one of us until we learn the truth. If you are getting tickets and can't figure out why the Lord is not protecting you, then you must have not read the part in the Word where it says, "Abide by the Laws in your Land". If you think it was for those back in the Biblical days, then think again. If you abide by your laws, then you will STOP getting tickets.

Another thing if you are in a car with someone that is driving over the speed limit, it is your duty to speak to him or her through a testimony or scriptures. This applies to everything else that you know is breaking our land law. You never know you could bring someone to the Lord by this.

So when you pick up something to look at in the car and are not paying attention where you are going, then you deserve what you get. I know I do.

By the way, yesterday afternoon after I got home from driving around on the job and being convicted of not doing anything but driving. I found out why the young lady had a wreck. She was looking for something on the floor.
