God doesn't need Middlemen

I am going to start stretching your faith!

In the Word people came to the Lord to be healed. This is not the way it is today in most cases. It seems that the Lord is on His knees begging us to let Him heal us. This shouldn't be the case.

Jesus never went to anyone and begged. It was the people who seeked out the Lord for healing. What kind of seeking are you doing today? Are you doing everything possible to seek the Most High for your healing in your body, or are you seeking God's help through doctor's and medicine? You know He don't need any help. I think it is really sad when we think God made doctors for His Glory. God doesn't need a middleman. He can do it all by Himself. He is always talking about Him being a jealous God and sharing the glory with doctors. No, no!

I believe why we are missing the major moves of God is due to the use of the middlemen to get to God. We even use people to go to God, instead of us going directly to Him.

In Luke 5:12 speaking about a man with leprosy. He didn't wait Jesus to come to him. No! When Jesus came by, this man cried out to Jesus to be healed and Jesus healed him. If he didn't cry out to Jesus, his opportunity would have passed by. Jesus knew that the man needed healing, but Jesus didn't stop until the man cried out to Jesus instead of Jesus going to him. I also believe that God made a way for Jesus to walk by all those who needed to be touched by Jesus. It wasn't happenstance. It was divine appointment of God. In the prayer of Jabez it wasn't an accident that Jabez's story was published in the Bible. Jabez had to cry out and cry out he did.

Have you ever cried out to God and seen miraclous things happen. I have and it is usually in struggling times. A time of great need. That is what this man did in Luke. He cried out for Jesus to heal him, the cry was heard and he was healed.

I once had a man tell me that the reason doctors were made, was for the different levels of faith you had. That is the best answer from someone else other than what I came up with. That may have been true in the beginning for where your faith is. But now doctors are crutches.

When it says in the Word, come to Me, it doesn't say come to Me through someone else. It says come to Me. This is stated many times in the Word, but the best place I think is in Matthew 6:33 (CJB) “But seek first the kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given as well.” Even Luke, a physican gave up his practice to follow Jesus.

Start praying in this area and ask the Father to show you the truth of what I am saying. Ask Him to show you the fullness.

Disclaimer* I am NOT telling you to stop going to doctors. What I am saying is that God doesn't need Middlemen.
