Have you ever wonder why you cannot advance to the next level with the Lord and His affairs? I have, and now I know why. Last night as I was in prayer, I was basically begging the Lord in the spirit for the next step in advancing toward the goal in our lives. As I was praying the Lord started to speak to me and show me that I had no plan to continue. I thought to myself, I have a plan but I didn't. I had a goal but not a plan. So I listened as He started to show me where I was missing the mark. I have been drawing up the floorplans for the last few weeks for the career center for Sowing Seeds. I had a goal of the end result but I didn't have a goal of the next day. Have you ever had a vision or goal and never seemed to make it. Or it has flopped before it got started. Did you have a plan for that vision? I did for the future, but not for today. As I listen to the Lord He showed me how to plan my day. I would just work the day as I saw fit, but that wasn't being very diligent with my time or day. IF you foolishly walk through your day you will not get everything done during the day and I was doing that. I am successful, but the Lord is trying to show me how to be more successful. What He showed me to do is make a schedule of my day. As I was listening to Him, I got to thinking how legalistic that was with a owner of a business to stick to such a strick schedule. And then the Lord showed me the Marines. They process their whole day by the time schedule laid down to them by their superiors. And everything that they have planned they get done. Also if they go into a situation, that have it planned out, their watches are in sync and their minds on their job. And they go do it, each person has a job but they wouldn't be able to do a job unless it was planned out by someone. I realized that that is what I must do. If I worked a job I would have to be to work by a specific time, take a break at a set time, eat lunch at a certain time and get off work at a certain time. Well that is the way it is with the Lord. He is the superior. He is the 5 star general that you have to run your life. He is laying out a plan for you to do and if you follow it to the letter, you will not fail. So I wrote out a schedule. And that was the missing puzzle piece to the next step. He took me into the office and showed me how much more there was to planning out this goal we have. So I have a lot of work to do. When I went to bed, I was reading in Luke and read Luke 14:28 (CJB) which reads “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Don't you sit down and estimate the cost, to see if you have enough capitol to complete it?” Do you see the planning that is involved in order to build the tower. You can't just say I am going to build a tower over there and guess a price. You have to make plans, you have to measure, count the wood envolved and then price it out. It isn't just getting a cost estimate, it is a plan. The next part of the scripture is concerning the Marines. Luke 14:31 “Or again, suppose one king is going out to rage war on another king. Doesn't he first sit down and consider whether he, with his ten thousand troups has enough strength to meet the other one, who is coming against him with his twenty thousand troups.” Yes, if there is a plan it can be done. I didn't say it was going to be easy, but it can be done. If God is for you who can be against you. If you have a plan which is made through the Lord and you follow His ways and the plan that you are destined for, you will be successful. So I have a plan for the next stage of this mutlimillion dollar enterprize that the Lord has placed in my life. Are you working toward yours. A disclaimer for those who think they have enough. Please let me stretch your faith a little bit. The Lord never said that we had to be broke. In fact for the believers to have money is His purpose in the first place. We are the first not the Last. We are suppose to be the leaders not the followers. So let us have what is rightfully ours. If we have the money then He can use it for His glory. If the world has His money then they won't be so apt to give the money away for the glory of the Lord. BE Blessed! Richard
