Don't push past Him

Have you ever tried to get before the Lord and just couldn't quite make it. Or you feel that there is a burden trying to get before Him. Well I do from time to time. Yesterday I was walking and the Lord spoke to me and said, "Don't push past Me". I pondered what this meant. What could He mean by pushing past Him. And then I got this.

Sometimes we get so caught up in trying to seek Him, that we push right past Him. In Psalms 91 verse 1(NKJV) It says," He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." I want to look at the "secret place" this morning. Tommy Tenny pointed out when he came to my church, that the Father is in the "Secret Place". This is the point that I forgot.

We can push into Him on a daily basis (or whenever you felt led) and seek Him for all our worth, but never get there. We push right past Him. As Dad(YHVH) showed me this yesterday. Yes, you are right YHVH, you are a secret place. You are not in the same place twice or should I say to you, I can't get to you the same way as I did the day before. If I could come to you the same way everyday it wouldn't be a secret. It would be a pattern or a routine, and you are neither one of those.

So yes, I push right past Him, and wonder what happened to the relationship I thought I was going to encounter when I got before you and never got there. "He just told me to come seeking, not to seek after the flaw"(routine).

Last week I was talking to YHVH when I was questioning Him "How come I can't get before Him like I used to? I got before Him nightly and most mornings. But no matter how hard I tried I couldn't do it anymore, like I used to." Then He spoke to me saying, " Don't come like you use to, come like you are now!"

We have a tendency to do that, fall back into a familiar place that felt good, but He has taken us out of that place into a higher place, yet we don't think we are doing any good until He shows us where we are and where we have been. Don't look for those familiar places. They are more than likely a place you have been that He doesn't won't to you to go back to. It is a form of backsliding.

I said all that to say this, " It is not a job to get before YHVH, it is something we must want to do. We need not look for a pattern or routine for He is none of those. We just need to seek Him for who we are today, and we will get to that secret place to dwell."

BE Blessed!
