I was listening to Renee pray a blessing over us the other morning and when she spoke a scripture that I have heard so many times before, except I heard it differently for the first time. I have always wondered why I ask for something and even thought He said He would give us the desires of our hearts, I never got that. Or when two or more are gathered in His name if we believe without doubt we shall receive. Then we don't receive. Why, why, why? Well the answer has always been there, just didn't see it the way it was supposed to be seen. He will give us the desires of our hearts. He will give us the desires of our hearts. I heard this many times before, but when I heard it from Renee it was different. And then He told me what it was I missed. He never said I would give you anything out of the will of God. He said I would give you the desires of your heart. Well if you desire a car, or you desire a house, or anything that you desire, if it is not His will you won't get it. He said, "He would give you the desires of your heart". Let me say this another way. He will put His desires in your heart. Not give you the desires of your heart. He is not saying that He is giving you your worldly desires. He is saying that He will give you His desires. It is the desires that He will give, not the items of your desires. We have read it wrong for a long time and tried to figure out why we are not getting what we ask for. So the next time you ask for something see if it is your desires that you are trying to get, or is it His desires that He is trying to give to you. They can still be items, but they will be items that you need to give Him the glory. BE Blessed! Richard
