When you are in a teaching or in a pastoral meeting, you need to listen to what they are saying; you need to guard your heart. I was in a meeting and the pastor said something that was not absolutely correct. It didn’t line up with the Word. In fact it goes against what Jesus did when He took the Stripes on His back. If someone preaches that they need to suffer for the Gospel or the Lord is teaching them a lesson by sickness or disease. Then whoever is teaching that is wrong. If this is the case, then Jesus took the Stripes on His back in vain. For it says in Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. If you are under a teaching then they should have a scriptural reference to back what they are teaching. Unless it is a testimony, but it should fit in with the scriptures. If it doesn’t fit with the scripture but it is made to think it fits with the scriptures, then it doesn’t need to be told. The scriptures are there to be read and studied. Father said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. Hosea 4:6 Therefore if you do not know the scriptures and have confirmation in your heart with the Holy Spirit of those scriptures then you have no rights. You don’t even have rights to know the Real Jesus. I know that is a harsh statement but let us look at it. Where do you know that Jesus is actually Jesus? How do you find out? Do you accept Him blindly and then never learn about Him except through pastors and other people. No! It is His Word that you learn about Him. But a lot of people in this world don’t read the Word and accept the people’s word for who He is. Once you accepted Jesus, is He your personal Lord and Savior? If yes, then the proper way to learn Him is through the written Word of God. People telling you things can and will get twisted and end up sounding like the truth but is not the truth at all. So what you are standing on is a Jesus that is full of lies. He is not the real Jesus in your heart because you don’t know the real Jesus. The only way to know the real Jesus that will bring everybody into unity is through the reading of His Holy Word. The splits that take place in churches are not unity. You cannot not come into unity with denominations. Unity means to agree Jesus is Lord and agree on His Word, for He is the Word. If you would read the Word and ask the Holy Spirit for discernment. Then unity would start to come back into churches. Combining churches together will be what will take place. The Holy Spirit will NOT tell me one thing and tell you another thing that means the opposite of what He told me. “That is the house that stands against itself Matthew 12:25”. This is not the Holy Spirit; it is man’s spirit. What the Holy Spirit will do sometimes is tell it to you a different way, but means the same thing. If you can’t discern what is being said in the Scriptures, do you really have the Holy Spirit? Do you even want the Holy Spirit? When the Holy Spirit is with you He requires change and believe me you will change! So I ask the question again. Do you want the Holy Spirit? Or do you have the Holy Spirit and are not listening to what He is saying. Ever wondered how you could be reading something in the Bible or saw someone on TV preaching about something and you go to church and the pastor speaks on the same thing. They are in tuned to the Holy Spirit. If you were reading the Word that pertained to what you heard in church or on TV, the Holy Spirit led you there. If you think you have the Holy Spirit and you are not going across denominational lines and trying to pull us together to the Lord, then the Holy Spirit you have may not be Holy. There are many spirits out there that confesses to be the Holy Spirit and they are not. Which one are you following? If I say something that the Holy Spirit told me and it lines up with the Word and it settle right in your heart after you discern the spirits, then why would you want to rebuke me. It happens all the time. Most of the time it is because you don’t want to change. And it is not me that convicted you or scared you. John 3:16-17 states, “ For God so loved the world that He gave His only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in Him might have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed. 17. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but rather so that through Him, the would night be saved. Twice in two scriptures there is a might and a may. Why was that put in there and why are those always missed? Because there is more to it when Jesus asked you to lay down your life so that you could live. John 12:25-26 is the scripture reference to laying down your life. He never said accept ME as your Savior and do as you please. It doesn’t say that anywhere in the Bible, it does says “lose your life so you will have eternal life.” If you were doing things that were worldly before you asked Jesus to become your personal Lord and Savior, then why are you doing them after you asked Him into your heart? Colossians 3:1-3 says, “Since, then, you have been raised with Jesus, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Jesus in God. But death is just that, you must get rid of your old ways and start living like Jesus lived. Paul lived like Jesus lived. Paul died daily and look what he died to, killing the Christians. Paul is a great example for us to go by. You say we can’t live like that in this day and time. I say we can. But you must understand, we are the first not the last. We need to set the standards, not the heathens. Right now the way of the world, we are the last not the first. We follow, we don’t lead. If we led then there would be 10 Commandments in the public places. We could pray and praise God anywhere. The heathens would come to us instead of the worldly doctors and counselors. The lawyer firms wouldn’t be here. There would be no need for Welfare, needy homeless shelters, halfway houses, prisons. You see what I am saying. We are not first as a church in the world, we are last. If God is for us who can be against us. Romans 8:31. Why are we not in the political systems getting this changed back to where it is suppose to be? Come on it is time to get right with God; it is time to get real about Jesus. John1: 1-3 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.”. John 1:14 “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth”. So it is stated scriptually that the Word (our Bible) is Jesus. So there is no excuse in not knowing the truth about Jesus. Stop listening only to others and read the Word. Ask the Holy Spirit to quicken what you are reading in the Bible in your heart and see if we will start to come together as one. Remember He is coming after one bride, not a bunch of little brides.
