| He is God, Keep Trying Richard V. Milner Jan 15, 2003 |
For the last few weeks I have been trying to learn how to fix TV's. I know electronics, I don't know everything. And Tv's are one set of beast that I don't know. I joined a paid email forum that helps tech's help tech's. It doesn't cost that much, but it is still a price I have to pay in order to get the info. Well I have made some dumb mistakes on the forum and they don't think I am a technician, so they won't help me and some have actually cussed me for me wasting their time. I started to get upset with them and to tell them the what for's, but then I slowed down and remember who I was. I am the first not the last. I am above not beneath. My Father has always straighten out my problems so why not now? So I started confessing that I was the first and not the last. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. If the enemy comes at me one way he will flee seven ways. You know just the typical stuff you would say when the enemy comes against you. So I didn't write and tell anyone anything but an explaination of my experience, and left it in the Lord's hands. Have you ever had a situation that you couldn't handle. How did you handle it? Well this afternoon, I got a email directly from someone on the forum, that said "I once started my own business in tv repairs and I know what it is like!" So he has given me free advice with my tv repairs and wants me to stay in contact to help me get started. Now if I had done what I was going to do, God wouldn't have had a opportunity to fix my problem, or I would have made it more difficult for Him. But I was calm about the situation. I had no control over those guys doing anything to me, so I didn't need to get mad. When God showed up with this guy, he said more than what we talked about on electronics that he like the fact that I put Jesus first in my life. Now how about that. God didn't only send me someone that could help me with tv's, He sent someone who knew Him also. So He is God, and I kept trying and see what I got! A Blessing! BE Blessed! Richard |
